There’s a new book coming out later this summer about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but don’t expect anything juicy. It was written by royal journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand and, according to Deadline, it includes an interview the Sussexes gave before they left the U.K. earlier this year. The book, which promises to dispel rumors about the couple and reveal “unknown details about their life together,” reportedly has their blessing.
The title of the book is “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making Of A Modern Royal Family” (Dey Street Books), which strikes me as odd because Harry and Meghan specifically stepped down as members of the royal family to seek out a more private life. Therefore they do not have the right be called “modern royals” because as of March 31, 2020 they voluntarily gave up that privilege.
So, I came up with some alternate titles that would be more fitting for this forthcoming book:
“Finding Financial Independence”
“Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Post-Royal Mortgage”
“Finding Mr. Sussex”
“So You Hate Being Royal: 7 Ways to Fix Your Life and Follow Your Dreams”
“A Modern Guide to Breaking Up With Your Family”
“The Modern Family’s Guide to Living Within Your Budget”
“Live Like a Royal, Spend Like a Pleb”
“Duchess Difficult, My A**: The Modern (Non) Royal’s Guide to Having it All”
There, I fixed it.
