Don’t Understand The Scottish Referendum? John Oliver Can Explain

Today, Scottish voters are faced with the tough decision of whether or not to stay part of the United Kingdom (not a country, but made up of England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland).  It’s a rather difficult subject to decipher, weighing out the pros and cons should Scotland secede.

Last Week Tonight‘s John Oliver simplified things in the way we expect him to, and by the end of the segment I was a bit more educated on the history and impact of the referendum.

The polls close tonight at 10pm local time.
