UPDATE: There is *no* @TemperleyLondon collaboration with the Kardashians, Temperley tells us the story is “categorically untrue”.

It’s enough that I grind my teeth when certain people refer to the Kardashians as “American Royalty” (an oxymoron in every sense of the word. See “Revolutionary War”), but now they’re allegedly collaborating with a British designer favored by the Duchess of Cambridge. What Kate Wore posted an Instagram snippet from the Daily Mirror, which claims that Alice Temperley may be working on a fashion collaboration with Kylie and Kendall Jenner. The founder of Temperley London and Kris Jenner were reportedly seen at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood looking over designs.
“The older girls, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, have their own shop but Kendall and Kylie don’t,” a source told the Sunday People. “This is a chance to get a range out with the credibility of someone like Alice to design it. “Alice is one of the finest British designers and Kris’ friend. She is over the moon this partnership has worked out, she couldn’t stop smiling after the meeting.”
I respect that Temperley is looking to expand the empire, but I would expect this business venture would make Catherine pack up her threads and place them in the same box as her Issa garments.
Excellent. This is what we have to look forward to:
