Pippa Middleton is not fashion-forward, not that compelling as a public figure (as her Celebrate book tour proved), and really tries her best to stay under the radar (because KATE MIDDLETON). All in all, I’m sure she’s as “jolly hockey sticks” as the Daily Mail once declared, but as for her public persona, it’s a bit too toned-down for my liking. Now if you threw a tiara on her head…
Tonight, Carole and Michael’s second daughter presented Innovator of the Year at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in association with Hugo Boss. Dressed in a pale pink metallic dress and “Lenia heels” by the label, Middleton was seated next to Conde Nast International president Nicholas Coleridge inside The Royal Opera House.
Middleton attended the event solo, since her boyfriend, Nico Jackson recently left England to work at a hedge fun in Geneva, Switzerland.
Meanwhile…
One loves a spot of royal goss, but remember to take it all with a grain of salt. The Daily Mail‘s Sebastian Shakespeare reports that Middleton and Prince Harry‘s chum, Guy Pelly are planning a 30th birthday party for him at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s home inside Kensington Palace on September 13th.
There will be a sit-down meal, followed by dancing in one of Apt 1A’s largest rooms. No funny business can go down, it appears, since Harry must attend the Invictus Games closing ceremony the next day. This begs the question, “Will Camilla Thurlow be there?”
Oh, and I’ve started my Christmas list:
Dear Santa,
For Christmas I’d like a tiny Middleton waist, and a flawless spray tan. I wouldn’t mind a few pairs of KiKi McDonough earrings, but I shant be greedy. If you wanted to throw a Mustique holiday in there, I wouldn’t refuse it.
Best Wishes,
Kelly
