Tonight, Nanny Maria allowed the President of the United States of America to have an audience with Prince George of Cambridge.
Though it was past her charge’s bedtime, Maria granted Mr. President 20 minutes with the heir to the British throne (Cameron usually gets zero).
And so, pleasantries were exchanged. Prince George thanked Obama for the rocking horse he and Michelle sent over when he was born, even mounting it to show how much joy he gets out of the stationary object.
Pleasantries were exchanged between heir and leader. George apologized for looking so underdressed, then added that Americans dressed like every day was laundry day, so he didn’t think the Obamas would mind.
George asked about Obama’s luncheon with Gan Gan and the Duke of Edinburgh (he doesn’t answer to anything but, George revealed), and Obama said he was quite impressed when the Duke got behind the wheel, and thought nothing of it when he ran right over a few photographers.
“I’ll stand wherever I f***ing want to!” – Prince Philip
The prince didn’t join the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry to greet the Obamas outside, primarily because rain would ruin his velvet slippers.
Also, he could make do without comparisons to Hugh Hefner were the press to photograph him outside.
“Kate, how’s my lace?” – First Lady
“Heyyyyyyyyy girl.” – DoC in LK Bennett
“You would not BELIEVE that day I’ve had. Friggin’ Cameron and the Brexit referendum, amiright?” – Obama
“You’re looking prettier than Kate on her wedding day! I’ve already had a cocktail! ” – Prince Harry
George, according to Us Magazine‘s Omid Mio Scobe, waited for the Obamas in the hallway, but had to head right up to bed after saying hello.
It’s casual Friday. That’s how things operate in the Cambridge house after 5pm.
In one of the photos shared by Kensington Palace, a stuffed dog was spotted on the furniture.
before guests arrived, george had been playing in the drawing room with a toy dog previously given to him by michelle and barack?
