On Saturday, the Daily Mirror reported that an official trip to New York City was being planned for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. It’s being described as a “show-stopper” of a tour, and will take place either at the end of November or beginning of December.
“This trip is in the early planning phase but it’s a clear sign that she is on the mend,” a royal source told the paper. “However, if there is any suggestion that the duchess isn’t well, it will be cancelled immediately.”
Now People Magazine reports that William is coming to New York, and Catherine may join him, but only if she’s feeling up to it. Her Royal Highness, who is believed to be about 9-10 weeks pregnant, wasn’t part of the original plan, but aides say they are taking it day by day regarding her health. Catherine had to pull out of an official visit to one of her charities, The Art Room in London on October 1st because she was still battling Hyperemesis Gravidarum.
Kensington Palace has yet to confirm whether reports of a visit to New York City are true.

If she does accompany William, this will be Catherine’s second official trip to the United states; she visited Los Angeles and Santa Barbara in 2011.
