“The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe” by Angela Kelly LVO

Angela Kelly’s official title is Personal Assistant and Senior Dresser to the Queen, but she’s more like Her Majesty’s gatekeeper. Kelly provides fascinating details about the Queen’s wardrobe and little tidbits of gossip that make this coffee table-like book feel more like one you don’t want to put down. Plus she includes personal photos of the Queen, some of which are so casual you almost can’t believe Her Majesty gave Kelly the green light to write this book. And yet, we’re so glad she did.

Each article in this monthly issue is well-researched, historically rich and unlike what you read in the daily papers. There are some issues I even keep as souvenirs and refer back to from time to time.
