Did we have fun this year or what? Let’s look back on the royal year that was.
Her Royal Highness borrowed a pair of Robinson Pelham diamond, blue topaz and white gold earrings ($21,000) from her mother, Carole, who first wore them to the royal wedding’s evening reception.

Prince Harry’s Tour Down Under
Prince Harry finished his army career with a tour of Australia and New Zealand in May, and it was a rousing success.
He field marriage proposals, accepted gifts from well-wishers, ordered burgers like any regular bloke, and came in second during trivia night at a New Zealand quiz (Harry’s bodyguards beat his team, the “Ginger Ninjas”).

Prince Philip Is NOT Amused
Quite possibly my favorite moment of 2015 was when Prince Philip got fed up with the lolly-gagging and insisted the photographer stop d**king around TAKE THE F–KING PHOTOGRAPH.

The Queen Reaches a Milestone

On September 9th, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second became the longest-reigning British monarch in history.
By 5:30pm local time, Elizabeth had surpassed her great-great grandmother, Queen Victoria, but undertook a engagement in Edinburgh that day as if it were business as usual.
Her Majesty believed that reaching the milestone was “not one to which” she had “ever aspired to,” but nonetheless, she thanked those for their well-wishes.
Later that day, the Queen spent time with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Her Royal Highness attended her first state dinner in a red Jenny Packham gown and sporting the Lotus tiara, which once belonged to the Queen Mother.
Catherine wore the same tiara to a diplomatic reception in 2013.
Twice!
On December 8th, Catherine wore the Cambridge Lover’s Knot Tiara to this year’s diplomatic reception. The tiara was made for Queen Mary and wore by Elizabeth II, who then lent it to the late Princess of Wales on several occasions.
George’s First Trooping of the Colour
For this special occasion, George wore a baby blue outfit that his father donned at the 1984 Trooping of the Colour.

Merry Christmas! Love The Cambridges
It was perhaps the most darling photo of this “family of four” to date, with George running around as William kept a watchful eve, and Charlotte held by mum with her shoe on the ground in front of her.
