If you’ve turned off your phone and are only corresponding with loved ones via stationary and an antique pen, I feel obligated to tell you that it’s Fashion Week in New York.
First, you must must must *follow Their Ladyships, the Countesses of Go Fug Yourself , for they provide the rest of us with an inside look at NYFW’s shows and parties. And they are firecrackers. FIRECRACKERS, I tell you.
Second,, Emily Ratajkowski, got gussied up and joined harper by Harper’s BAZAAR editor, Laura Brown at Soho House in New York to toast the magazine’s third issue.
harper by Harper’s BAZAAR is geared towards a younger audience, and guest-edited by an “influential social media superstar,” featured in-magazine and on BAZAAR.com.
“Emily Ratajkowski is – in the words of Derek Zoolander – ‘really, really, really ridiculously good looking,’ but she has more strings to her bow than that,” Brown said of the actress. “One of them is great taste.”
Finally, a label that Catherine helped make famous showed at NYFW yesterday. Australian brand Zimmermann took to the runway at Artbeam Studio in Chelsea in front of celebs like Solange Knowles, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Gemma Ward, and Jessica Hart.
As she’s known to do, Catherine would perhaps select a more toned-down, customized version of the styles shown, leaving out accessories in favor of a clean, simple cut.
Jenny Packham, another favorite, will show tomorrow night at 5pm ET.
