While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited New York City in early December, Prince George spent time in Bucklebury with his maternal grandmother, Carole Middleton.
According to People‘s Simon Perry, Middleton took the soon-to-be big brother to a local farmers’ market where he “tried all the food,” according a villager.
Dressed in tweed (I KNOW), George “went back for a second helping of Christmas pudding from one of the stalls,” the villager added. “It was wonderful for the girl who makes them. It will make her year won’t it?
“It was just really, really sweet. He was just being like a normal toddler is, running around and exploring – he is such a sweetie. He’s lovely. A real bundle of fun.”

Another source told People how much Middleton dotes on her grandson (and she’s not even required to). “‘He’s gorgeous, isn’t he,’ she keeps telling people,” the source said.
Adding to this little guy’s charm is another story about his innate connection with the people. On Christmas day, well-wisher Sarah Neal and her daughter, Maddison gave Catherine a box of chocolates for George.
“Maddie met George on Sunday at the service at Anmer church,” Neal told the Daily Mail‘s Rebecca English of their chance meeting with the future king. “She helped him with his lantern and he blew her a kiss.”
Catherine, who is expecting her second child in April, turns 33 on January 9th.
