Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released their 2015 Christmas card, the first time they’ve showed one to the public since marrying in 2011.
“A new family photo – Merry Christmas from The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte,” the message on the British Monarchy’s Facebook page read.
“The Duke and Duchess are hugely appreciative of all the warm messages they have received about their family this year and are very much looking forward to their first Christmas as a family of four.”
Though the photo is undated, it’s believed that this was taken on the same day as Princess Charlotte’s solo photos.
William and Catherine also announced that George will start nursery school in the new year.
“Prince George will begin to attend the Westacre Montessori School Nursery in Norfolk before the end of January,” Kensington Palace stated in a press released.
Both William and Harry attended Miss Mynor’s nursery school in London; the Cambridge’s decision to have George go to school near their Anmer Hall home truly means that they consider it their primary residence (unofficial though it may be).
Westacre released a statement after it was confirmed that the future king was enrolled:
“We are looking forward to welcoming George to our nursery where he will get the same special experience as all of our children.”
It’s uncertain if George’s first day of school will be as public an affair as William and Harry’s were.
On each boy’s first day of school, the Prince and Princess of Wales brought their sons to school as a pack of photographers snapped from across the street.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall shared their (very cute) Christmas card yesterday.

Their Royal Highnesses joined Catherine, Harry, George and other family members at the Queen’s annual Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace on December 16th.
The gathering was a chance for Her Majesty to wish the more distant relatives a Happy Christmas, as they do not spend it with her and Prince Philip at Sandringham.
This year, William and Catherine will celebrate Christmas eve with the Queen, and attend church the next day as they always have done.

“I think George will be extremely bouncy this year because he’s suddenly worked out what Christmas is all about,” William recently told The Big Issue magazine.
“If I get any sleep on Christmas Eve it’ll be good.”
