It’s been a cause she’s committed her time to since joining the royal family, and this year the Duchess of Cambridge had a roundtable discussion to kick off a very special week.
In 2013, Catherine became patron of Place2Be, which works with schools to address issues children face if exposed to addiction, poverty and abuse.
“In particular Her Royal Highness has highlighted the need for early intervention in mental health support for young people to tackle these issues at the earliest possible stage, so that children have the brightest possible futures as they deserve,” Kensington Palace stated on their site.
Today, Catherine launched Children’s Mental Health Week 2016 to help end the stigma of mental health. On February 17th HRH will act as guest editor at Huffington Post UK to further highlight her cause.
