Today, Kensington Palace released four new photos of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana ahead of her May 2nd birthday, on which she turns one.
The sparette was photographed by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, posing regally at her family’s Anmer Hall home.

The Princess had two outfit changes for the shoot – a pink carding and dress with matching tights, then a cream cardigan with a blue dress and matching tights; both sets were topped off with a tiny bow in the appropriate color.

In one photo, Charlotte is doing her part to keep the property manicured, while her dog, Lupo does his thing in the background.
Classic Lupo.

Prince George opted out of the shoot, telling his office he had “better things to do than pose with a one-year-old.”
Which is fair.
At last night’s White House Correspondents Dinner, President Barack Obama recalled his recent meeting with George at Kensington Palace.
“Even some foreign leaders they have been looking ahead, anticipating my departure,” Obama told the audience.
“Last week Prince George showed up to our meeting in his bath robe. That was a slap in the face. A clear breach of protocol.”

George was allowed to stay up past his bedtime to meet the Barack and Michelle Obama, who had dinner with William, Catherine and Harry during their trip to the UK.
