This is what dreams are made of, America. A prince and his Duchess/Princess of the United Kingdom sweep in, steal the show and leave quietly after a ball so that they may be reuunited with their son, who “loves” Ipad games and will rule over the kingdom. I should write children’s books.
Guys, was today the best or what? Kids were thinking they were about to meet Elsa, common folk watched Prince William look for his seat on a shuttle to LaGuardia, LeBron James towered over two people I once considered tall. It was just a day for the books.
After touching down in New York City and giving everyone a quick hello, the Duchess of Cambridge made her first of (hopefully many) outfit changes for a private dinner for American Friends of the Royal Foundation at Sir Martin Sorell’s house (get out the good silver and put away those garish Mackenzie Child doo-dads).
