Back in June 2013, Princes William and Harry joined Pippa Middleton, Cressida Bonas, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, and Chelsy Davy at the wedding of their good friend, Thomas van Straubenzee to Lady Melissa Percy (wearing a family tiara for the occasion, according to Order of Splendor).

Davy served as a bridesmaid to Percy, the daughter of the Duke of Northumberland. Middleton is a good friend of Percy’s older brother, George.
The Duchess of Cambridge was unable to attend, since she was heavily pregnant with Prince George at the time.
Three years later, the godfather to Princess Charlotte and his wife have split, according to the Daily Mail.
The separation took place in October, and today the divorce was finalized.
Documents show that Percy was granted “a decree of divorce, the marriage having irretrievably broken down, the facts found proved being the respondent’s unreasonable behavior,” referring to van Straubenzee.
van Straubenzee has known William and Harry since they were kids; his younger brother, Henry was killed in a car crash in 2002, and a foundation (of which the Wales brothers are patrons) was set up in his memory to raise money for Ugandan schools.
