Cressida Bonas covers Miss Vogue‘s April 2015 issue, and not only that, she stars in a black-and-white short film about dancing and twirling. I think. I had to watch it a few times because my eyes started crossing about 45 seconds into the first viewing.
I know, I know. I’m being mean, but Bonas comes across as rather dull and always dresses like she’s hungover. Before dating Prince Harry, Bonas was just another aristocrat with a degree in dancing. Then they broke up, then Harvey Weinstein declared her the next big thing in film, and now she’s making me dizzy in some video where she speaks over her own rendition of “Blue Moon.” Somewhere, the Duchess of Cambridge is stroking her swollen belly and smiling out her palace window.

Trying to make sense of her thirst for the stage and screen, Bonas told Miss Vogue, “I don’t really understand it; in real life I’m often so shy – paralysingly so – but when I’m performing, it’s totally different. I feel free.”
Bonas attended the opening of Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Fashion Gala at the V&A, presented by American Express and Kering in London, England tonight.
The April 2015 issue, sold with British Vogue, is on newsstands now.
