The Duchess of Cambridge, who said to be between 12 and 14 weeks along, joined Prince William, Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh today in London for her first event since announcing her second pregnancy on September 8th.
Catherine wore a plaid Alexander McQueen coat (cut like my all-time favorite design she wore to Trooping of the Colour in 2011 and to St. Andrew’s Primary School in 2012), with a gorgeous Jane Taylor hat (worn first to an Easter Service in Australia last April).

The royal family welcomed the President of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam at the Royal Garden Hotel. Her Majesty had an extra spring in her step, beaming from ear-to-ear during the engagement. Except when she walked past Prime Minister, David Cameron.
“Do I really ‘purr,’ Mr. Cameron?”
Catherine looked radiant despite a first trimester spent bed-ridden due to acute morning sickness (I’m over the typing of the clinical term). Her Royal Highness was overheard telling Tony Tan how nice it was to out and about:

According to the Daily Mirror‘s Victoria Murphy, Prince William joked to President Tan about the hotel’s proximity to his home, Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace. “You can probably see into our bedroom window which is a bit worrying,” William said. “I wouldn’t look too closely”.
The palace is still taking it day-by-day when it comes to Catherine’s schedule, as the morning sickness could still knock her on her feet (although it’s said to fade away after the first trimester).
HRH is expected to present at tonight’s Wildlife Photography Awards at the Natural History Museum (H/T to @christine_effie for confirming that one).
