Prince George Slowly Poisons Dog Lupo With Ice Cream, According To Some Idiots

Yesterday, Kensington Palace released four adorable photos of Prince George to celebrate his third birthday.

Normally the Duchess of Cambridge is behind the lens, but this time she and Prince William hired photographer Matt Porteous to snap George at Anmer Hall, the family’s home in Norfolk, England.

One photo from the set has the Royal Society For The Prevention of Cruelty To Animals concerned.

They were there on official business, but it’s always lovely to pop round to visit one’s grandson at his place of work.

Before she meets with outgoing Prime Minister David Cameron at 5pm, the Queen (accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh) opened a new East Anglian Air Ambulance Base at Cambridge Airport today, according to BBC News.

Coincidentally, this is also where Prince William is based as a pilot for the ambulatory service.

This is the second time Her Majesty and Prince Philipe have visited the Duke of Cambridge’s place of work. [Read more…]

David Cameron Hums a Little Ditty After Stepping Down As Prime Minister

British Prime Minister David Cameron seems like a decent guy.

He admitted to camping out on the streets before Lady Diana Spencer and Prince Charles’ wedding back in 1981, which is a fantastic blurb.  And he’ll be best known to Yours Truly as “that Prime Minister who got to go to the royal wedding, the Diamond Jubilee and the 2012 Olympics.”

Today, Cameron confirmed in a press conference outside 10 Downing Street that as of Wednesday evening, he will no longer be Prime Minister.

The best part?  He hummed to himself as he walked back inside, sounding very much like Hugh Grant in Love Actually as he let out an exasperated “Right…” [Read more…]

A magazine cover this significant could not have come at a better time.

Just a few days after the horrible mass shooting that took 49 innocent lives in Orlando, Florida, the Duke of Cambridge has made history by covering the July issue of Attitude, the first royal to ever cover a LBGTQ magazine.

Those involved hinted yesterday at something after William and the Duchess of Cambridge signed the book of condolence for Orlando victims at the U.S. Embassy in London.

Representatives of LGBTQ association gliffa were there to greet the Cambridges, and William let it slip that he was involved with an upcoming Attitude project.

According to ITV News, Kensington Palace would not elaborate on the Duke’s comments.

“We look forward to speaking about this soon,” the palace stated yesterday.

No one had to wait long, because the palace tweeted the news this morning.  [Read more…]

Well, this is an interesting development.

Though her mother went in 2011 as a guest of the Queen, the Duchess of Cambridge has never attended Royal Ascot, though to be one of the most significant days in the British calendar.

According to royal reporter Katie Nicholl, William and Catherine will attend this year’s race as a sort of birthday favor to Her Majesty. [Read more…]

As a royal watcher, it gives me great pleasure to see the Invictus Games enjoy so much success in its second year.

It was just three years ago when Prince Harry visited the Warrior Games in Colorado, which served as his inspiration for an international show of strength, bravery and sportsmanship.

Michelle Obama has become America’s latest national treasure, for she has divulged secrets of the royal family that her predecessors would have shrugged off as non-newsworthy soundbites.

The First Lady and Prince Harry gave a join interview to Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts from Orlando, Florida, where the second annual Invictus Games are underway. [Read more…]

Prince Harry Cleverly Promotes Invictus Games With the Queen

This might be the cutest video you watch all day (aside from the royal wedding).

Prince Harry enlisted the Queen’s help in promoting next month’s Invictus Games in Orlando.

Ever the good sport, Her Majesty was game for making a short video that also starred President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, who popped over to William and Catherine’s apartment in Kensington Palace for dinner last week.

The video shows Harry and his grandmother going over a pamphlet about the upcoming games, when he gets a text from FLOTUS (her ringtone is aptly set to “Hail To The Chief”).

“It’s from Michelle,” Harry said, opening up a video made by Michelle, Barack and a few members of  the armed forces. [Read more…]

Gang’s all here!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Bhutan this morning after making one helluva landing.

Paro International Airport, nestled in the Himalayan Mountains,  is considered one of the most challenging airports in the world, and for that reason only eight pilots are qualified to land.

William and Catherine were invited into the cockpit as the pilot landed the plane.  Prior to their descent, everyone on board (including the British press) was told not to “be alarmed” by the landing, which the captain promised would be “unique” and “spectacular,” according to the Daily Mail‘s Victoria Murphy.  [Read more…]
