Today, the Queen and Prince Philip led a service at the Sandringham War Memorial to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Gallipoli Campaign, which was led by Winston Churchill and considered a failed battle during the Great War.
Prior to this, the royal family was joined by the Duchess of Cambridge’s family – Carole, Michael, James and Pippa Middleton, who likely spent yesterday celebrating Catherine’s birthday at Anmer Hall.
Catherine wore a tweed blazer and skirt by Michael Kors with her Fairy Tale hat by Sylvia Fletcher for Lock & Co., a repeat from December 27th.

Her Royal Highness wore a delicate updo, complemented by Kiki McDonough citrine drop earrings.
During the ceremony, the Queen laid a wreath of poppies at the war memorial to honor “the Glorious Dead,” and a one minute moment of silence was observed for the employees of Sandringham who fought in the battle.

Royal photographer Mark Stewart was at the ceremony, and noticed that the Duke of Cambridge cut his hair.
Usually it’s the Duchess of Cambridge’s hair do that gets Twitter attention. Today it seems to be the Duke’s! https://t.co/RxF74XBqa2

The reviews were mainly positive, except for one who was not pleased to see that William might have “shaved” the top of his head.
I’m sure the prince has taken everyone’s notes into consideration on how best handle his hair.
