Rare are the occasions we see a royal partake in manual labor (save for Princes William and Harry).

Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series on the Solent, a straight that separates the Isle of Wight from mainland England.

Catherine is patron of the 1851 Trust, a charity run by sailing champ Sir Ben Ainslie that aims to get youths involved in the sport.

Today, wearing her Land Rover BAR polo, skinny jeans, Kiki McDonough’s “Lauren” gold leaf earrings and Monsoon wedges, Catherine met some of its members in Portsmouth.

Prince William was asked what presents his son, Prince George got for his 3rd birthday.

“What did he get for his birthday? I’m not telling” William said,” according to Richard Palmer of the Daily Express.

“He got too many things. He’s far too spoilt, he ‘s not into boats yet.”

After touring the grounds, the Cambridges hopped on a boat (bearing the Royal Standard, which is basically a fancy sign for “ROYAL ON BOARD”) to watch the races, for whichCatherine changed into her Adidas Pure Boost X sneakers.

In a move that had me flexing my bicep like Rosie the Riveter (don’t ask), Catherine used her superhuman strength to push back the tinted window of the boat so that she and William could enjoy an unobstructed view.

Holding children on a daily basis certainly has its physical benefits.

Ainslie and his team ended up winning the Cup, and were presented trophies by the royal couple.

Each member of the team also received a Louis Vuitton Damier Keepall weekend bag, monogrammed to mark the occasion.

It’s been confirmed that the Cambridges will not attend the Rio Olympics next month.  Monaco’s Princess Charlene will not attend either, according to her husband, Prince Albert.

The royals are said to be avoiding Brazil due to the Zika virus epidemic.  This is not to say that Catherine and Charlene are in the family way at the moment, but if they do plan on having children in the future (males can pass the virus on to their partners).
