Today in Monaco, new parents Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene posed with their twins, heir Prince Jacques and spare Princess Gabriella on the palace balcony.

Jacques, who will one day rule over the Monaco, is two minutes younger than Gabriella, but male primogeniture dictates that he is the heir (rude).  [Read more…]

Brace oneself, ladies.  The sight of Prince Harry bending down to have words with a little angel (the Brits get super creative with their flower girls/page boys) is enough to start ordering “HRH Princess Harry of Wales” stationary. [Read more…]

Just in case you weren’t aware of how head-over-heels the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are for one another, I’ve put together a bunch of photos to drive the point home.

Ugh, smug marrieds.  Am I right?   [Read more…]

What a lark!  Get your titles right, Master Of Ceremonies/London Toastmaster Richard Birtchnell.  I know you’re thrilled to be in the presence of royalty and have a million things going through your mind, but really…

Prince William had a right laugh when Birtchnell introduced him as the “Duke of Edinburgh,” his grandfather, Prince Philip‘s title.

It was laughed off.  No one’s getting sent to the tower (is that joke old now?). [Read more…]

Heirs have problems, too.  In fact, since William the Conquerer they’ve had to worry about how to overthrow their sovereign so as to speed up the process of ascending to the throne.

Then there’s the fear of being poisoned by jealous relatives, and dealing with people who think it’s alright to make you sit on the grass while watching polo.  The  indignity of it all.  [Read more…]

Last night’s Royal Variety Performance must have been a proper knees-up (I want to say my invite was lost in the mail.  Having overseas friendships is a struggle sometimes), and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appeared to have had as much fun as the performers themselves.  [Read more…]

Good heavens, ma’am!  You’re naked as a jaybird and there’s a crown atop your baby bump.

American street artist Pegasus (think Banksy…but not) is responsible for this depiction of the Duchess of Cambridge a la Demi Moore-covers-Vanity-Fair-circa-1991, graffiti’d on the wall of Faith Inc Gallery in North London.  According to the Daily Mail‘s Sebastian Shakespeare, this cheeky image celebrates the support Catherine has given to that part of the city.  [Read more…]

8 Times Kate Middleton Nailed the Whole “Poise and Grace” Thing

There isn’t a politically incorrect or disrespectful bone in the Duchess of Cambridge‘s body.

En route from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace after their 2011 nuptials, Catherine bowed that glorious, Cartier halo tiara-wearing head while Prince William saluted as they passed the Cenotaph in Whitehall. I remember thinking “that girl is classhy as sh**.”

Certain members of the Queen’s staff are letting unvetted visitors into their living quarters, and while this is nothing new, the way in which it’s happening is.

The Daily Mail‘s Rebecca English reports that many members of Her Majesty’s 800 + staff are using dating apps like Tinder and Grnder, which use GPS locators to find local matches.  [Read more…]
