Prince William Makes a Little Boy’s Day While On The Job

Call him whatever you’d like, but Prince William did something on February 8th that will leave some critics at a loss for words (if only for a few minutes)

While working with East Anglia Ambulance, William piloted a helicopter sent to pick up 3-year-old Luke Swyer, who suffered an allergic reaction after eating a peanut.

Tthough he remained seated in the cockpit, William blew up a surgical glove and drew a smiley face on it to distract Swyer as doctors treated him.

“We thought it was a really touching thing for Prince William to do as it really took his mind off everything that was going on,” Swyer’s mom, Donna told the Telegraph.  [Read more…]

On March 28th, 2007, Annie Leibovitz became the first American to take a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

As her new exhibit, “Women,” opens in London, Leibowitz was asked about her most famous subject and what really happened that day in Buckingham Palace.

Was there “controversy?”

The Middletons Join Royals to Commemorate The Battle of Gallipoli’s 100th Anniversary

Today, the Queen and Prince Philip led a service at the Sandringham War Memorial to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Gallipoli Campaign, which was led by Winston Churchill and considered a failed battle during the Great War.

Prior to this, the royal family was joined by the Duchess of Cambridge’s family – Carole, Michael, James and Pippa Middleton, who likely spent yesterday celebrating Catherine’s birthday at Anmer Hall. [Read more…]

In January of this year, Kensington Palace broke off from Clarence House in order to represent the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry,  whose household was created in 2009.
